Job Opening: Nevada Health Link Insurance Exchange Program Enrollment Assister

(Temporary Position – November 15, 2014 through February 15, 2015)

The Enrollment Assister will educate and assist Nevada residents with the process required to enroll in the Nevada Health Link Insurance Exchange Program. A successful candidate will work in a culturally diverse environment at various and rotating locations throughout the community, manage their time to provide specialized assistance, deliver excellent customer service and meet deadlines.

Enrollment Assister will work with a project manager and team to provide administrative, reporting and project coordination support. Coordinate site visits, meetings events, workshops and conferences. Educate and assist Nevada residents with enrollment. Provide administrative support including data entry, computer tracking of project timelines, schedules, activities, documents and project assets. Manage mail, email, calendar, appointments and meetings. Support project lead, team members and other senior leadership. Track overall progress and report results timely. Coordinate with team members and clients to achieve successful results and exceed expectations.

Requirements:
• High school degree or equivalent
• Available to work flexible hours at rotating locations
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The ideal candidate will also have:
• Outreach skills
• General knowledge of the local community
• Basic computer skills including email capabilities

Selected candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be required to pass a background check. Selected candidates also will be required to complete at least 20 hours of training and must pass a final exam to be certified as an Enrollment Assister.

Candidates must be able to work independently with little or no supervision, as well as work cooperatively and efficiently in a team environment. Resourcefulness, excellent customer service and the ability to interact effectively within diverse environments are critical. Must be well organized, flexible and thrive in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple individuals.
